Those of you familiar with CiviCRM and any existing tools and/or needs for tools, start providing an overview of the situation here.
The main tools of relevance to CiviCRM? for eCampainging are:
- CiviEngage (new)
- Drupal's Activism Modules
- Canvassing and GOTV stuff inspired by Will Brownsberger There is a 6:00 am PT (3:00 pm?? GMT) meeting on thu, mar 25th to discuss the current status and plans with this
Priorities will need to be determined for working with there. Perhaps the Drupal 'connector' to CiviCRM? for the Drupal's Activism Modules would be an important step.
Note: developing a connector / adaptor for Plone to connect to CiviCRM? may be one of the Priorities of the Plone Track

Here's a brief list of what is shipped in core and some drupal modules:
- Address parsing to street name/unit/direction etc
- Phonelist and walklist
Future short term plans call for integrating work done by will w for his campaign: http://civicrm.org/node/682 as part of the civicrm_engage module
- would be good to take a look and integrate drupal's activism module and help integrate it closely into civicrm

I'm interested in organizing a CiviCRM? code sprint for the day before DrupalCon? for those who don't need the CiviCRM? training. I'm looking around for topics and one might be to build on something coming out of this event. Would be nice to see a posting in the wiki with outcomes from your event.
Hope you've had an interesting past few days.
Cheers
